Knife Skills: Knife care, sharpening, and safety

Saturday June 4 , 2016 | 11am-3pm
Chopping techniques and practice. We will prepare a few different chopped salads and appetizers as practice and prepare lunch.


Spice & Sauce Magic

Saturday June 25, 2016 | 11-3pm
Learn to balance flavors with spices, herbs, and sauces to make all your dishes outstanding. We will make lunch out of the seasons harvest and use spices and our favorite sauces to heighten flavors.


Basic Cooking Methods

Saturday Sept. 10, 2016 | 11-3pm
Steaming, saute’s, roasting, baking, boiling, and raw preparations. We will use these to make irresistable veggie dishes and lunch.


Butchery & Seafood

Saturday Sept. 24, 2016 | 11-3pm
We will cover selecting the best cuts, preparing meats, poultry, and seafood with marinades and rubs and best cooking techniques for each. All meats are sustainably raised, finished, and as local as possible. We will also do some focus on crockpot cooking in this class.
